We might guess that Anonymous 7:33 and "Zack" are the same person. The Sumo Mud Wrestler claims that he does not allow anonymous comments, but he sure does allow a lot of accusations to be cast from anonymous "inside" sources. Those comments from "Zack" are the perfect blend of unverifiable statements from a supposed insider who knows something nobody else knows and can give you the "true" scoop on somebody's character. It's the perfect way to keep people coming back to your blog.

If you want to know something about David Hardage, why not go see him or call him? It seems like that would be the spiritual thing to do before making accusations about him. Is he so hard to contact that one could not speak to him before throwing stones or slinging mud? Are assumptions so easily drawn that a conversation would not matter at all?

I see a pattern here; those who actually know David Hardage speak highly of him. Those who only want to find fault and exalt themselves ask "Who?" and make unverified claims.

If you want to, you can be a real Christian man and honor Christ with your words and actions rather than wallowing in the mud, follow the Scripture, and seek to grow God's Kingdom.

The only place I'm sure there is no rejoicing is on the Panda's blog. I'm just glad Jesus was selected as the ED because the Panda would probably criticize him too.

Ken, I am optimistic and grateful for the hard work of the search committee. I don't know David well, but I am willing to listen to what he has to say. I do know some of the guys on the search committee and trust their judgement. If they feel like this is man God has led to the ED job then we should all join them in prayer for the meeting next month. The Truett Media library has a sermon he preached in chapel last month up on their website. It is worth a listen. Good Stuff.

David H. is a solid guy and a good choice. He has a tough job ahead of him but I think he deserves the opportunity to succeed and he will get my support.

I would tend to agree but his association with Truett makes me worry a bit about his commitment to the SBC. How involved is he with the CBF?

One thing in his favor is that the Panda doesn't like him. That's good enough for me.
